Riverview Park

Riverview Park is probably one of the more misunderstood areas around Alta Vista because it is not really one single type of neighbourhood.

There is a much wider mix of housing here than many buyers expect. You will find detached homes, townhomes, apartments, older properties and newer development all fairly close together.

Different parts of Riverview Park can feel completely different, so I would not value or compare every property under one neighbourhood umbrella.

Some of the older residential streets have a very established feel with mature trees and homes that have been there for decades.

There are also small park connections and walking routes throughout the area that are easy to overlook when you are only looking at a map.

Proximity to CHEO and The Ottawa Hospital is another major advantage, but the exact street still matters because traffic patterns and access routes can change quite a bit throughout Riverview.
