Pleasant Park

Pleasant Park is one of the more interesting parts of Alta Vista because the feel can change pretty quickly from one street to the next.

Pleasant Park Road itself and the quieter streets around it can be two very different buying experiences.

Some of the best locations are only one or two streets removed from the busier roads, where you still get the convenience but with a much quieter residential feel.

The housing stock is also varied. You will see older homes, renovated properties, additions and complete rebuilds all within a relatively small area.

Backyard size and privacy can be a major part of the value here. Some properties feel fairly ordinary from the street and then completely change once you walk into the backyard.

This is one of those Alta Vista pockets where I always pay attention to what is beside you, behind you and across the street, not just the house you are buying.
